Throughout the year, the following activities aid Resurrection parishioners in building a strong welcoming community and assist in fundraising efforts. Volunteers are needed in many ways to insure their success.
COOKIE SATURDAY/ DONUT SUNDAY
Volunteers help serve refreshments and donuts/cookies after masses in Fr. Zenk Hall. Coordinators oversee the set up and provide direction to the volunteers. Cookie Saturday/Donut Sunday is generally once a month during September through May.

CASH CALENDAR
Resurrection’s largest fund-raiser of the year. Volunteers needed to assist with mailings, selling tickets after Mass, promoting the event. Event is from November through January.

Volunteers willing to make bars, cakes, or salads for special parish events.

GARDEN COMMITTEE
Has the responsibility of maintaining the gardens on the church grounds: planting, watering, trimming the shrubs, and fertilizing.

Inside: skilled workers able to assist with plumbing, carpentry, and cleaning.
Outside: tree trimming, lawn mowing, snow shoveling sidewalks, general clean-up.

Count money on designated day for weekend Masses and other church functions that collect money.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus (KC’s) is fraternal organization of Catholic men from Resurrection parish. The KC’s serve the parish, contribute financially to various organizations and to the needs of the community. Meetings on the last Tuesday of each month.
