Family Promise
Helping homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response in the Rochester, Minnesota area.
Family Promise Rochester was launched in 1999 as Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Rochester after a group of caring individuals saw the need to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive assistance to homeless families in the Rochester, Minnesota area. The nonprofit opened its doors to guests in March of 2001 and relocated to its current location in January of 2003. Family Promise Rochester is a 501(c)3 non-profit, is managed by an executive director, and governed by a local board of directors. Church of the Resurrection, Pax Christi, and Holy Spirit are the churches that partner for this ministry and serve families about every five weeks.
