Schedule of Events
Saturday, Feb. 19:
2:00-5:00pm: Music Ministry Workshops
Leading liturgical worship is not about performing, but allowing others to enter into the moment and enter into the prayer. Steve’s music workshop shares invaluable tips on effectively integrating music into liturgy, encouraging congregational singing, and spirituality for the liturgical musician. While particularly well suited for more contemporary styles of music, there’s much to be learned for any ensemble, and filled with inspiration and humor, this session can also be a great retreat day for a parish music program. This event is open for anyone involved in music ministry at their parish. If you would like to come, please email Michelle at choirdirector@rescathroch.org. This event is free with a good-will offering.
8:00pm: Mass
Music will be led by the Young Adult Music Ensemble. (Steve will be there, too!)
Sunday, February 20:
8:30am: Mass
Music will be led by the Office of Music and Liturgy. (Steve will be there, too!)
10:30am: Mass
Music will be led by the Full Music Ministry Ensemble. (Steve will be there, too!)
The Knights of Columbus Breakfast will be served after both Sunday Masses. We hope you will join us in fellowship!
7:00pm: Mission Night: Modern Divinity
In this first of two Mission Nights, Steve will sing and play music written for the Church including his own compositions and share stories that shine light upon the Gospel and encounters with Christ. We welcome all ages to join us as we pray and reflect on what it means to have a relationship with Christ in today’s world.
Tickets for these Mission Nights are $10 a person. One ticket gives you a seat to both nights. We will also have good-will offering. We thank you for your generosity and support so we can continue to have these Missions here at our parish.
